Overview

Vibrant Music Lab, a leading private music academy founded in early 2023, is dedicated to a student-centric philosophy of 'Love Before Learning.' I played a key role in developing their brand identity and establishing their online presence. My contributions included branding, designing marketing materials, and enhancing their digital footprint to reflect this unique educational philosophy.

Branding

Safe haven of warmth and energy

To reflect Vibrant Music Lab’s expressive, therapeutic, and fun identity, I redesigned the brand to move beyond a child-focused look. After exploring various iterations, I incorporated a subtle whole note in the "A" for a clean, timeless feel. A multi-colored palette—guided by color psychology—captures the brand’s energy, warmth, and curiosity, aligning with its mission to make music both joyful and meaningful.

Marketing - Campaigns

Welcome Package

We launched a campaign to boost brand awareness and attract new students—especially young kids in the Inland Empire needing in-home lessons. Through targeted Instagram and Google ads, plus our referral program, we shared what makes VML different: every lesson is tailored to each student.

To make new students feel excited and valued, we created a personalized welcome package with a colorful tote bag, letters from the CEO and instructors, a homework book, fun stickers, and even customized instruments.

Events

Harmonizing successes

VML hosted a recital event just four months post-launch, providing students the chance to showcase their skills before a live audience. I was responsible for branding the event, including art direction and creating a visual identity. This involved producing marketing materials such as flyers and social media graphics, designing branded t-shirts for performers and instructors, and setting up the event website for information and RSVPs/performer sign-ups. I also handled venue decoration and developed media kits to ensure a cohesive and professional presentation. This strategic approach not only highlighted the company's capabilities but also positioned us favorably with potential clients.
